The project “Expanding Emergency Humanitarian Assistance and Protection of Vulnerable Populations in Hard-to-reach Regions of Ukraine” is implemented by the NGO “Tochka rynovagy” in partnership with Plan International and the “Posmishka” Foundation with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.

The initiative aims to support vulnerable categories of the population of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions by providing cash assistance and strengthening the capacity of psychosocial professionals. As part of the initiative, 671 people received cash assistance to cover basic needs, and 47 psychologists and social workers from 13 communities participated in a supervision support program aimed at maintaining professional resources and improving the quality of assistance to children and families affected by the war.

The project is implemented by the NGO “Tochka rynovagy” with financial support from the Alliance “Development Helps” (Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft) in partnership with the Representative Office of the international organization Plan International. The initiative is aimed at supporting children from vulnerable categories in Sumy and Kharkiv regions by providing them with the necessary educational resources and strengthening their psychosocial well-being.

As part of the project, 825 children from vulnerable categories received educational kits, which include orthopedic backpacks, stationery, power banks, and materials for creativity and emotional relief.

The project aims to support people affected by the war in Ukraine by providing mental health and psychosocial support services, as well as assistance with meeting basic needs. The initiative provided individual and group psychological counseling for internally displaced persons, children, women and the elderly, as well as supervisory support for professionals working with war victims. In addition, humanitarian assistance was provided in the form of hygiene products, clothing, heaters and other necessary items.
