The project “Expanding Emergency Humanitarian Assistance and Protection of Vulnerable Populations in Hard-to-reach Regions of Ukraine” is implemented by the NGO “Tochka rynovagy” in partnership with Plan International and the “Posmishka” Foundation with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
The initiative aims to support vulnerable categories of the population of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions by providing cash assistance and strengthening the capacity of psychosocial professionals. As part of the initiative, 671 people received cash assistance to cover basic needs, and 47 psychologists and social workers from 13 communities participated in a supervision support program aimed at maintaining professional resources and improving the quality of assistance to children and families affected by the war.
The project provides psychosocial support and psychological services, conducts information events in communities, trains local professionals, and provides cash assistance to vulnerable households. It is implemented in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions.
